Islamic State Editorial on Ghweiran Prison Battle

As expected, this week’s issue of the Islamic State’s al-Naba’ newsletter features an editorial covering the battle of Ghweiran Prison, in which the Islamic State has at least partially succeeded in freeing many prisoners held there under the detention of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which subsequently besieged the prison and managed to secure the surrender of some of those holed up but appears to have announced complete control over the prison prematurely as of the time of writing.
